We bought my Grandpa King's farm in 1968 (?) and this was the barn that was here.
Nelson and I bought the farm from my parents in 1979. Nelson added on little additions here and there.
And now....the roof coming down, piece by piece.

The inside has been stripped of anything of value.
The morning sunrise filters through the barn the morning after the roof tin has been removed.

It didn't take long for the round roof to collapse and before we knew it, it was down.
A little sad. So many memories in that barn for us and our children.
Every time we had a strong wind, I was a little fearful it would blow down. The lean-to's were supporting it.
And now it's reduced to a concrete pad.

And now the only building, other than the main house, that is left when Grandpa King farmed here is this part of the dry-cow barn; the middle part. That was Grandpa's and my dad's machine shed.
Change. It's part of life--and sometimes I have difficulty with that.
